All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!

Since a long time there has been a ceasefire between our realm and Siegfried's. Still they negotiate about the peace with help from Lord Lancelot and an agreement seems to be found soon.
In the meanwhile we reveiced bad news. Our ally Lionheart acted by proxcy by his brother in the official duties during a longer travel. But he wasn't able to lead his realm reasonable and so the subjects of Lionheart had to starve to death because of a bad distribution of grain. The folk lost its confidence into Lionheart and when he finally returned from his travel they heaped reproaches on him. He had to flee out of the capital with a handful of loyalists in the dead of night. Hopefully he will find a new home with his loyalists somewhere. Of course Lionheart will still be a member of our alliance, but it will certainly take some time until we can get in contact with him and he has built up a new realm.
In the meanwhile we got also news from the island where the lords Brightblade and Heinrich live. After it looked like that the arguements between them were just a misunderstanding for a short time, the war flared up more fierce in the last years. Baron Brightblade declared war on the Kristall-Allianz officially which consequently joined the alliance around Anorien to stand up to him. Together they formed the “United Federation around Anorien“ and they are very confident that they can resist Brightblade. Lord Heinrich who got in the meanwhile also the title of a baron, informed my master Alberich about the progress of this war personally. He explained that the troops of the federation already won some fights against Brightblade's men. Thereby it came up that Baron Brightblade officially announced that there is a traiter in the line of the Kristall-Allianz which would supply him with information. Baron Heinrich neither didn't want to confirm it nor deny.
Just before I finished this report of the chronicle I received a surprised information. Baron Brightblade announced in an official letter his defeat by the troops of the United Federation and abandoned the field. Let's hope that it is not a trick to get reprieve and the war is really over, because the longer a war lasts the more harm it causes the plain people in the affecting countries.
