Year 25
All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!
Actually Lord Wolfen wanted that I add a report of the Chronicle of Tamar
every five years but in the last time many things happend in this country
and so I'd already like to write a new page today.
At first some bad news. Just recently, as it was brought to my master Alberich
from a trader, one of the lords of Tamar, a certain Duncan, had been become a
victim of a cruel bunch of thives. This Duncan just lingered during a travel in
the northern territories of the realm, when a furios gaggle of babarous journeymen
attaked his village. The cruel blokes demanded the whole gold and grain from the
villager! But the inhabitants of Duncan's colony were devotedly on the side of their
master, they decided to give them nothing by choice and instead to fight against
the thives. Unfortunately the good but unskilled men and women had no chance against
the well skilled and with all kinds of deadly munitions equipped pack. Though they
were able to protect the gold and grain from the invaders but without the experienced
leadership of their master hundreds of them payed their valor with their life.
But now to the more pleasend things in Tamar. For a few months already news have
circulated through the country, carried by mounted messengers. Through this new mail
network we can receive knowledege about villages which are further away and we learn
which lords rule their over the people. As we generally got to know also the first
alliances were discussed and some already promissed to help their neighbours in the
event of future fights. We hope that we will be better warned against thives and similar
rabble in future. Unfurtunately some messengers are even not safe from highwaymen, because
it seems that some messenges didn't reach their receiver. Mayby the riders will be equipped
with an armed escoy in future, so that the news can be brought through Tamar safely.
And further good news from our lord Wolfen reached us. As he announced in a message he
tries to get some master builder for our country. They should provide us with new plans,
so that we can built up new buildings in the future. Everybody hopes that his efforts
will succed soon.
