Year 110
All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!
The fortune doesn't mean it well for us. The eagerly awaited peace had been near
just for a second. As soon as Wolfen and Siegfried agreed upon the ceasefire they
revoked it and started even to fight more dogged. Soon we found out via an information
that arrived us on secret ways that the whole thing was planned so and that Siegfried
and Wolfen never really wanted a ceasefire. With this mean trick they just wanted to get
some time to form new troops, because their aim was, is and will ever be to destroy the
“VSZOT-Alliance“. The wolfspack, as this alliance of our enemies is called by us, formed
so many unbelievable armies to destroy us finally. Alberich ordered all our troops back
to our residence town. Then he locked up the gates and prepared his men for the upcoming
last attack as we thought. But the enemy troops didn't attack us, but surrounded our city
and sieged us. We almost got any news from the outside, but one day a messenger was able
to sneak through the enemy camp to give us the following unbelievable telegram.
Listen, Lords of Tamar,
Sir Wolfen is dead! Sir Wolfen is dead!
this urgend telegram should reach you all. My name is Arnauld, free herald of Eternia,
and I proclaim that it seems that the ruler Wolfen, also known as Wolfen the Warlord had
been attackted. According to our information sources a fire had been set in the residency
of the well-known lord in the late evening of the Midsummer day in the year 108. The fire
ran high in the night sky and it is said that it must have been 300 cubits. I can't say if
it is true, but the guards of the castle said that they regocnized the charred corpse of Sir
Wolfen by his wolf-head-amulet. This amulet is forwareded for gernerations in this family and
it is a clear evidence. The following day Sir Wolfen was pronounced dead and his realm is an
anarchy now. As Sir Wolfen has no children and also no other relatives this land is an free
area from now on and can be annexed by every lord. But be careful Lords of Tamar! Nobody really
knows about the conditions in the land and rebelling troops may expect your attacks. It is also
said that the person who overtakes the city of Wolfen will have a considerable capital.
Arnauld, free herald
Could it be really true that the hawk got his fair fate?Maybe the statement that someone set
fire is a plan of his men to blame his enemies for his dead? Nevertheless this message means:
The wolfpack lost one of its importanst member. In the meanwhile Alberich realized that our
realm on Eternia had no future, because this war would never end. During long discussions with
the leaders, armies and the oldest of our folk we decided to leave Eternia when we would get a
chance and to try a new start on another island. Everbody knows that we could meet there malice
and greed for power like at this place, but at the moment an unsecure future looks better for us
than a further preservance next to such neighbours like the alliance of Siegfried. He took his
chance and occupied our land and moved to the left estates of Wolfen. But thereby he did a fatal
mistake. Because of this unstoppable greed for power he formed so many troops that he didn't have
enough money to pay the soldiers and the maintenance for the armies very soon. In swarms his men
ran away from him whereby he still had luck that they didn't oppose him. In this situation Fox of
Sion (as you remember on of our importanst ally) took his chance and marched-out to our support.
He has taken over big parts of our former east estates right now so we hope that soon there will
be a possibility for us to go on a journey for a new home. We also frantically search for
possibilities to give our big stock to our allies, because we can only take the bare necessities
with us.
For me it is a horrible time. We have lived here for so long, built up our land just to see how
babarians pillage and threaten to burn and loot it. Often I don't see any comfort and I get afraid
of the morning. Kilian is a big help for me in these hours. This young fellow of hardly 20 years
has been my assistant for a while, because I have a lot to do and won't get younger. His father
Thorwald is a skilled armorer like many men in our realm and actually his son should overtake the
little blacksmith's shop but he had other plans. He prefered to spend his time to help me to blind
books, to do some little errands for me or just to watch me when I was writing a letter. Besides
that he is not the strongest and not created for hard work with an ambos. His father found out his
real interests very soon.
